I would have to agree, a classic leopard print coat can stand the test of time and be paired with almost anything.
This year there are so many different styles that allow you to bring it into your wardrobe no matter your style preference. I’ve gotten so many questions on where I’ve gotten mine over the years and haven’t quite been able to point them in the right direction since I bought mine new, but second hand from Poshmark. This teddy bear sherpa leopard print jacket from J.Crew is an easy way to dress up a pair of jeans or throw on with an everyday look. It’s fabric is versatile and comfortable and can easily be that go-to coat that goes from day to night. The sherpa is cozy enough for the chilliest of shopping days and is 100% machine washable. Lands’ End Winter Down Puffer
I had to include a Lands’ End Puffer into this mix. They are some of my favorite lightweight and warm coats and this season I was happy to see they introduced a print into their collection. What I love most about the Lands’ End jackets is that they are so size inclusive. Being plus size finding coats can sometimes be difficult especially in the winter when you want to wear a heavy sweater underneath. The 600 fill power keeps you warm, while the HyperDry fabric keeps you from getting wet. Available in sizes XS-3X
J.Crew Rain Jacket
If you don’t live in a cold weather climate but still want to get in on the action, I absolutely love this subtle spotted leopard print rain jacket. It is lightweight enough to layer and perfect for on the go. This jacket features water-resistant fabric, a fishtail hem for extra coverage, a flattering elastic bungee cord at the waist and a cute (and practical) hood. This is one of J.Crew’s best selling rain jackets and finally it comes in a print! Available in sizes XXS-3X
H&M Short Coat
If you would like a little more structure in your jacket but still with an oversized feeling this H&M jacket is for you. It has a soft brushed flat faux fur texture that is more polished than the teddy bear sherpa. Reviews do say this boxy jacket runs large. Available in sizes XS-XL and ONLINE ONLY.
Faux Leopard Plush Jacket
This coat from Nordstrom is a luxe more plush faux leopard print jacket, more similar to the style that I have. It’s oversized collar and large front pockets are great details for everyday wear and on-the-go. The pockets are great for when you need to have your subway card at the ready instead of digging in your bag! Available in sizes US 0-12 but runs large. The 12 fits like a US 14.
