P R O D U C T D E S I G N
I spent 10+ years in the gift industry focusing on product design and development for a number of different well known multi- million dollar licenses (Disney, Sanrio, Nickelodeon ), as well as internationally known brands (Vera Bradley, Tiny Prints, Shutterfly Inc.) and retailers (Target, Wal-Mart, Claires, Office Max, Staples). During that time I worked with multiple substrates and printing techniques and applied design skills to 3-D products. I traveled to Asia multiple times a year to visit factories to perform press check, build client relationships, review product quality, negotiate pricing and sourcing as well as managed production calendars for product launches.
For 5 of those years I managed and lead a cross functional team that executed the launch of seasonal gift product and quarterly stationery product. Presented product categories to all levels of the company as well as on stage to a bi-yearly meeting of hundreds of indirect retailers from across the United States.
